As usual, there is a federation planet that is suffering from a terrible plague. There is a pre-warp civilization that has the cure, however their customs, which are in no way racist! will test Picard's patience. 
Anyway, Adam and Al talk about this episode and have some laughs. Laugh along with them, won't you? Won't you? My God, they should have sent a poet.

Beverly Crusher is tasked with solving a mystery because Bones’ solution from 60 years ago isn’t working, and it is difficult work for her what with the being all horned up for Jean Luc and all.
